Celebrate modern US Naval Aviation with this highly detailed 1:72 scale diecast model of the Boeing F/A-18F Super Hornet, produced by JC Wings. Representing aircraft AG200 of the renowned VFA-103 "Jolly Rogers" squadron, operating from the aircraft carrier USS George H. W. Bush (CVN-77) in 2023, this impressive collectible captures one of the United States Navy's most versatile and recognisable frontline fighter aircraft.

The Boeing F/A-18F Super Hornet is a twin-engine, two-seat, carrier-based multirole fighter designed to perform both air superiority and precision strike missions. Developed as an advanced evolution of the original F/A-18 Hornet, the Super Hornet features increased range, enhanced avionics, improved weapons capability and exceptional operational flexibility. Its ability to undertake fleet air defence, fighter escort, reconnaissance and ground attack missions has established it as a cornerstone of modern US Navy carrier aviation.

VFA-103, famously known as the "Jolly Rogers", carries forward one of naval aviation's most celebrated traditions, featuring the distinctive white skull-and-crossbones insignia against striking black tail fins. This JC Wings replica depicts the squadron's commanding officer's aircraft, AG200, as it appeared in 2023 while assigned to Carrier Air Wing Seven aboard USS George H. W. Bush. The aircraft represents a period of operational deployment supporting NATO cooperation and maritime security missions in European waters.

Featuring authentic squadron markings, detailed surface features and realistic military aircraft construction, this limited-edition 1:72 scale model is an outstanding addition to any military aviation collection. An excellent choice for enthusiasts of the F/A-18 Super Hornet, US Navy carrier operations and contemporary military aviation.
