Celebrate the proud heritage of US Naval Aviation with this highly detailed 1:72 scale diecast model of the Boeing F/A-18F Super Hornet, produced by JC Wings. Representing an aircraft of the renowned VFA-103 "Jolly Rogers" squadron, operating from the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) in 2015, this distinctive collectible captures one of the United States Navy's most recognisable modern fighter aircraft in its special "Santa" markings.

The Boeing F/A-18F Super Hornet is a twin-engine, two-seat, carrier-based multirole fighter designed to excel in both air-to-air combat and precision ground attack missions. Developed as an advanced evolution of the original F/A-18 Hornet, the Super Hornet offers increased range, improved avionics, enhanced weapons capability and exceptional operational versatility. Its ability to perform fleet air defence, fighter escort, reconnaissance and strike missions has established it as a cornerstone of modern US Navy carrier aviation.

VFA-103, famously known as the "Jolly Rogers", is celebrated for its distinctive black tail fins displaying the unmistakable white skull-and-crossbones insignia. With a heritage stretching back through generations of naval fighter aircraft, the squadron has become synonymous with the traditions and fighting spirit of American carrier aviation. This JC Wings replica commemorates the squadron's 2015 operations aboard USS Harry S. Truman, featuring its distinctive "Santa" theme alongside the famous Jolly Rogers identity.

Combining authentic squadron markings with the Super Hornet's distinctive twin-tail configuration and finely reproduced airframe details, this 1:72 scale diecast model makes an outstanding addition to any military aviation collection. An excellent choice for enthusiasts of the F/A-18 Super Hornet, US Navy carrier operations, special aircraft liveries and contemporary military aviation.
